About New St. Mark
Established by Pastor I.H. Harper, in 1936, New St. Mark has sought to save souls and be a beacon of light in our community ever since. Under the leadership of Pastor E.L. Granderson, our mission continues. New St. Mark promotes orthodoxy, obedience to God's word, faith in God's favor and works, hope for a better future through Jesus Christ, and a family-like, Christian love. We strive to persuade others of the truth expressed in II Chronicles 7:14 and St. John 12:32.

A Message from our Pastor
From the desk of
Pastor E.L. Granderson
Welcome to New St. Mark, where God is supreme, Jesus is central, and the Holy Spirit is active.
Here, the word of God is preached and taught to:
-
Persuade men to accept and follow the words of Jesus in St. John 12: 32,"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
-
Express the promise of God in II Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (also see, II Corinthians 4:5; and I Corinthians 1:23)
-
Inspire men to come to the unity of faith and be steadfast as laborers together with God (Ephesians 4:3,13; I Corinthians 3:9-11; II Corinthians 6:1; and I Corinthians 15:58).
